Dr. Kamalkumar Jiddimani completed his Master’s degree in Veterinary Surgery from KNP College of Veterinary Science, Shirwal, with focused research in cataract surgery in dogs, reflecting his early and sustained interest in veterinary ophthalmology.

He joined The Eye Vet (TEV) in 2021 and went on to complete TEV’s rigorous three-year residency training program in veterinary ophthalmology. His commitment to surgical excellence and advanced specialty training culminated in earning the Diplomate of the International Board of Veterinary Ophthalmology (DIBVO) certification on May 3, 2025—the highest international qualification in the field.
Renowned for his superb surgical skills and gentle touch, Dr. Kamalkumar is a highly valued member of The Eye Vet team. Outside the clinic, he is an enthusiastic hockey player, bringing the same discipline and teamwork to sport as he does to clinical practice.
