Dr. Aakash Vedpathak

A standout M.V.Sc. surgeon with a longstanding interest in ophthalmology, Dr. Aakash Vedpathak completed his Bachelor of Veterinary Science from Bombay Veterinary College, followed by a Master’s degree in Veterinary Surgery, where his research focused on corneal grafting techniques for the management of corneal ulcers in dogs.
Dr. Aakash spent five years working as a surgeon in general practice, gaining extensive clinical experience before choosing to pursue advanced specialty training in veterinary ophthalmology. In 2021, he joined The Eye Vet (TEV) and successfully completed TEV’s rigorous three-year residency training program.
His dedication to clinical excellence culminated in earning the Diplomate of the International Board of Veterinary Ophthalmology (DIBVO) certification on May 3, 2025—the highest international qualification in veterinary ophthalmology.
Beyond his surgical practice, Dr. Aakash is passionate about education and actively enjoys teaching and mentoring. Outside the clinic, he is an avid trekker, reflecting his discipline, endurance, and curiosity—qualities that translate seamlessly into his clinical work.
